Ifield, located in the western part of Crawley, is one of the town’s most historic and characterful neighbourhoods. With roots dating back over a thousand years, Ifield was even mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086. It became part of Crawley New Town in 1947, when the village of Ifield merged with the original Crawley market town and Three Bridges.
